RPG gem that still shines
Divine Divinity is the kind of RPG they simply don't make anymore. A huge, wonderfully chaotic world packed with quests, secrets, NPCs and an almost absurd amount of freedom... and sometimes absurd humor by Larian.
It may look like a classic action RPG on the surface, but underneath is a surprisingly deep role-playing experience. You can approach problems in different ways, experiment with the environment, build your character however you like and simply get lost in the world of Rivellon.
It's quirky, occasionally clunky and definitely shows its age — but its freedom, atmosphere and sheer amount of content remain impressive.
I haven't played it back then, but the more i like the feeling of the past age of gaming.
Love the soundtrack, and quirky voice lines.
