Awesome!
Yes! Yes! It is here! GOG rulez as hell! This was one of the first box game my parents bought me and It has created my childhood. Awesome gameplay with more awesome soundtrack I remember to this day. One more time, thank you GOG! I recommend this for all retro-players, because this causes instant nostalgia feeling.
Now let's settle down a bit.
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is pure late-'90s PC gaming energy. Fast movement, colorful levels, tons of enemies, secrets and a soundtrack that immediately takes you back to the era when Windows 95 ruled the world.
The controls are responsive, the level design is packed with surprises, and the game constantly throws something new at you. It's also surprisingly fun to play cooperatively, turning the campaign into chaotic multiplayer mayhem.
It isn't perfect — some mechanics and level design choices show their age, and the difficulty can occasionally feel more frustrating than challenging. But the sheer speed, personality and variety still make Jazz Jackrabbit 2 a joy to play.
A forgotten PC platforming gem that deserves another run.
